Ice Cream (2016)

This episode of work is what I made during my first fall semester at Illinois State University. Ice cream scoops are a running visual theme in this work, as I like the allusions to decadence, indulgence, sex (cream), childhood, and temporality they present. Some of the things that I've been thinking about while making this work include hyper-reality, simulations, sexuality, gore, pop culture, and surrealism.
